Agencies I Love

There are a lot of good agencies out there, but Director Katie has narrowed it down to her top 5 and shared why they're the ones to watch.

Adam & Eve DDB

They just know. Their Marmite ad got me in hysterics, and it most definitely got sent to our group WhatsApp. The same goes for their “Lucky in love at Christmas” campaign, but this one made me heart warm. Final mention, as they’re more than a one trick pony, their “The Last Photo” project for CALM & ITV against suicide prevention. Just fantastic, a bold, sensitive and beautifully deployed OOH awareness campaign that moved me. Solid work that always elicits emotion.

Design Studio

It’ll come as no surprise that this agency features. Like us, they’re big on the research and they’re great at it. They fully immerse themselves within the brand to truly understand it, enabling them to succinctly communicate their offering with ease. The brand strategy for Airbnb is unparalleled, the identity is clean and the delivery is emotive; just incredible. Similarly, their Centre Parcs Europe rebrand, again just strong, visually appealing and beautifully articulated.

Jaywing

One for the Midlands, these guys know how to utilize insight. They’re intelligent creatives; data led and driven by a thirst for knowledge and understanding. The work they do with First Direct is phenomenal and they’ve been partnering with them for over twenty years, if that doesn’t speak volumes, I don’t know what does. They have teams of creatives paired with data scientists, journalists working alongside strategists, they’re the definition of an integrated agency, and I’m here for it.

93FT

I adore their interiors work and only stumbled across these having worked from the Chimney House (one of their debuts) in Sheffield for a couple of days. As soon as I walked in, I felt at home – it was beautiful, staring at 93ft on the exposed brickwork, I had to see who they were, and they did not disappoint. Their transformation project for Domo is elegant whilst their industrial work at Exhibition in White City is musically apt. They’re also responsible for The New World Trading Company branding (think The Botanist), the intricate illustrations and delicate flora, it seems 93FT can do it all.

Mr. B & Friends

It’s their ethos for me, they look to be a true agency for good. A group of likeminded, dedicated, hardworking professionals. Client or colleague, they give the sense of welcome arms which is further demonstrated in their outreach programme. They’re an agency for good and an inspiration to the change in industry we want to see.
