Potter Clarkson, a leading European intellectual property law firm, approached us with a challenge: how do we help FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) brands protect their packaging from copycats? We were tasked with designing a first-page advert for FMCG CEO Magazine, a publication targeted at the CEOs of the top 2000 companies in the food sector. The magazine boasts an audience of 15,000 influential readers, providing a perfect platform to communicate the importance of safeguarding packaging through intellectual property (IP) protection.
Our goal was to convey to FMCG executives how various forms of IP trademarks, patents, design rights, and trade secrets can protect their packaging and prevent competitors from replicating their products. We needed to translate these complex legal protections into a visually engaging and easy to understand message for this high level audience.
