Within weeks of launch, engagement rose 50% and the share price surged 280%. CAP-XX, a global leader in supercapacitor technology, needed a website that better engaged investors and distributors. Our targeted research and brand sprint informed a complete redesign. We optimised the structure, functionality, and messaging to strengthen market perception and investor confidence.

CAP-XX is a global leader in supercapacitor technology, supplying industries from aerospace and electric vehicles to medical devices and IoT. Despite genuine innovation and a strong commercial track record, their digital presence wasn't keeping pace. The existing website failed to serve three very different audiences. Investors needed a credible, compliant investment story, distributors needed to navigate a complex product catalogue quickly, and customers needed clear educational content to understand the technology. All three were underserved, and the gap between the business CAP-XX had become and the impression their website made was growing. Following a full rebrand, the website needed to close that gap entirely.

61% higher engagement. 280% share price growth. Within one month.

These were the results seen following the launch of CAP-XX’s new website.

Our Approach

We began with a full audit of the existing website, analysing user behaviour, engagement, optimisation, and conversion processes. Combined with employee interviews, these insights shaped a refined user journey and interface that met the needs of investors, partners, and customers more effectively.

Building on CAP-XX’s refreshed brand identity, we designed and delivered a website focused on regulatory investor tools, innovation education, and simplified user journeys, including streamlined product quoting.

The phased launch ensured compliance with governance requirements and delivered measurable value against tight deadlines, allowing for further sections of the website to be developed in later phases.

Improved User Journeys

Following a rebranding project, we completed the design and build of a new website. Not only did this help bring the new brand to life, but it also refined their user journeys, better serving the needs of investors, partners, and customers.

Rebuilding the user flow

After gathering insight on the usage of CAP-XX's existing website alongside audience mapping, we rebuilt the user flow. This ensured that different audience types were able to locate the content they needed quickly and all could move around the site seamlessly.

Bringing the products to Life

With a large variety of product types, we created 3D renders of them to make it easier for users to locate what they needed. These were also designed to become useful brand assets for other forms of marketing and customer collateral.

A website that serves a variety of audiences

The website features an investor section, clear product catalogue, product 'how to', news, and support, designed to provide excellent experience to their various audience types.

FAQs.

Absolutely. Even though you're designing a whole new website, analysing your existing site can still tell you a lot about your users. This insight identifies what is and isn't working and is used to map out the best wireframe, content, and pinpoint opportunities. A website audit analyses user behaviour, engagement, conversion and technical optimisation. We use heatmapping, analytics, and SEO tools to support with auditing.

For listed companies, compliance is built into a web project from the start. Our designers and developers understand the requirements of AIM Rule 26, making sure that investor-facing content, regulatory news and reporting sections are accurate before launch.

It's important to agree on the right metrics before the project starts. We encourage businesses to focus on metrics defined by specific goals rather than vanity statistics. For CAP-XX this meant monitoring bounce rate, engagement time for products, and market perception in particular.
