TPM's website still worked ok, but no longer reflected the quality and professionalism of the business behind it. After a corporate presentation design update, the team realised the potential of a website and visual identity refresh. We took the opportunity to go one step further, rebuilding the website to support it's longevity and better tell TPM's story.
This Property Matters (TPM) has an established reputation in their sector. They came to us for help refreshing their website which had remained largely unchanged for some time and was in need of an update.
The brief began as a face-lift: update colours, fonts, and imagery, refresh copy, and selectively redesign key components within budget. But after auditing the existing site, it became clear that patching the old platform wouldn't do the brand justice.
Our Approach
After testing and reviewing the website, we soon realised that the UX and UI weren't delivering an experience that truly reflected TPM's personality and quality of work. Rather than just updating the look and feel of the existing WordPress site, we recommended a full rebuild. A new tech stack would allow us to take advantage of modern frameworks, deliver a significantly better frontend experience, and put a more secure and efficient foundation under the site for the long term.
On the frontend, we used the latest JavaScript frameworks to deliver a fast, polished user experience that matched the refreshed TPM brand. On the backend, we implemented a headless CMS, providing an added layer of security and operational efficiency.
Beyond the technical rebuild, we used the project to meaningfully improve the site's content. We expanded company information, introduced additional stats and metrics, and fleshed out case study detail, giving visitors a much clearer picture of who TPM are and what they do. Certain sections, including the navigation, were also streamlined at the client's request to simplify the user journey.
We ran regular client meetings throughout, with structured design sign-offs at each key stage. A staging environment was set up early so the client could review progress and provide feedback in real time. Multiple rounds of amends followed, and we set up analytics and monitoring alongside SEO optimisations to ensure the site was in the best possible shape from day one.
When the time came to go live, we deployed on the client's timeline, including resolving DNS issues with their IT team on a Friday evening to hit the launch date.

A big thank you to Katie and her team at Create Inc. for creating such a crisp, modern, look for our business. It truly represents who we are and what we stand for.
